A most valuablo find of burglars' implements, which tlio police coneidor to bo the most complete of the "J*ind tlioy have seen for a consider- ' able time past, was made by a boy wliilo ho was chasing a blackbird in tho Albert Park. In putting his hand under the flooring of a closet to seize tho bird he laid hold of some keys and picklocks, which he took to the police station in Princess-street. A second visit to tho locality resulted in tho lad finding a bicycle lamp, n bottle of oil and a chisel. At dusk, under instructions from tho detectives, the boy put the plant again in its former place, and the detectives themselves then laid in wait dose by. About 9.30 a mnn * •4fccanie tip to tho spot whistling. He hung about the place for a few minutes, and then crossed over to an iron fence and entered the shrubbery where the pkntwas. Tho detectives in a fow minutes followed liim, and he was at once arrested. At the station a canvas bag in possession of the prisoneif was found to contain five packages of dynamite and a coil of fuse, and in his hand wore found 11 dynamito caps. In the bag wero found nine picklocks, a tile for glutting skeleton koys, a table knife and some clothing. This man gave his name as Thomas Kenny. About half-past 10 another man camo to place, whistling, DctectiveQnirke(wiiowasdisgtiised) delayed the stranger talking until tho arrival of Detective Bailey, when the man was also taken into custody. < This accused gave his name as Butler Norris Wilkinson. Kenny said ho 1 lmd arrived from America about two months ago, and the other said he : came from the same country a fortnight since. Kenny has his right 1 hand otf from the wrist, and in one 1 of the bags was found a dummy hand with a white glove on Several plumbers say tho keys, which are 17 in numhor, and the 1 implements for making skeleton keys 1 are the best of tho kind they have yet seen. The accused have been remanded.
