MAURICEVILLE ATHLETIC CLUB.
From Our Oim Correspondent. A meeting of the above Club was hold on Saturday, 9th November, and was well attended, It was resolved to call tenders for the different privileges, in the Mastertpn papers, pji fJiefJth Jloccmber, tenders to close qn the 14th Deqember, and also for a Brass Baud. Messrs Q. G/undersqn, Qeo. Franklin were appointee! to (jeal with tenders, Messrs C, Martin and K. Perry were elected members of the Club. Messrs R. Brooks, C. Martin and J. Cottis, were elected a Ball Committee. It was resolved to liavo a sawing and he,yipjf competition at the Sports; 'and band-bills, giving particulars, latoi on. '' Mr C. Brooks was appointed S/Metary, and tho meeting ndjouriiooj.' '"' -
