Received Xorcmhcr 7,11 a.m. Sydney, November 7. The barque Tamerlane, which left Newcastle, for Valparaiso on Friday last, has beon towed into port completely dismasted and considerably strainod. She fell in with the lato storm and those on board had a tcrriblu experience. All the boats were smashed and the vessel herself had a narrow escape of foundering. Oil was used without effect during the height of the gale. The cargo will have lo be discharged and the vessel thoroughly refitted,
