A hack is a hors« that has never wen an advertised race at any time (Hack and Hunter Races excepted), and is not nominated in any race other than Hack and Hunter races at tho timo of nomination. 3. Tho Stewards reserve tho right to alter tho dates of nominations, weights, and accep tances, also to alter the stakes should occasion atisc, subject to tho approval of the Metropolitan Club.
