ANALYSIS OF SUICIDE.
Who among us does not feel pity, if not horror and contempt, for those who have so lost all regard for law, human and divine, as to premeditatingly take measures for selfdestruction ? Want of self-reliance | lack of self-mastery; antipathy to existence, and a longing to escape life's responsibilities, are the frequent excuses offered by those who in "fits of temporary insanity," rudely cut the thread of life. While there may be some excuse for these, there is none for so-called criminal carelessness; for those who cultivato a disregard for kindly advice, and uudcr-estimnte admonition. When life seems a burden, when the nights are long and sleepless, when tho continual strain threatens life, many recklessly turn a deaf ear and cold shoulder to a friend's proffered advice. Why should prejudice and arroganco so often preyent one following the dictates of conscience ? " Fortunately " says Mr Hugh Barnett, retired Government Officer, Roma, Queensland, "I accepted the advice of a friend and took Warner's Safe Cure. For a long time 1 endured terrible suffering from Liver disease. The pains under the shoulder-blades, down the hack, and iu my chest and sides were 6o severe that I could get no rest dpy nor night. My appetite failed and I became so weak aud worn out that 1 was obliged to give up work of all kinds, After spending much time and money iu other directions I commenced taking Warner's Safe Cute, and after using several bottles I am thankful to say that I have quite recovered my good health, and consequently havo no hesitation in advising those suffering from liver diseaso to try this medicine in preference to all other remedies that may bo offered to them.
