THE DEAN SENSATION.
A TERM OF FOURTEEN YEARS. Received October 25,10.15 p.m. Sydney, Octobor 25. Dean has been found guilty on the second charge of perjury in swearing that ho nover purchased poison. Tho defending counsel raised tho a . plea that ho had beon granted a royal pardon, which included this charge. This contention was overruled. Dean inado denials similar to those of yesterday. Tho prisoner was sentenced to fivs years' imprisonment on the first charge, and 14 years' on the second, the sentences to be concurrent. Dean was cool and collected, and said, "Thank you, your Honor!" when the Judge passed seutence. The conspiracy trials have boen adjourned until Tuesday.
