D. OBEWE'B WEEKLY REPORT. For the week ending October 18th, Mr D. Crowe repoi Is that during the woek baeineEs has been on the increase. On Thursday, the 17th, 1 held a (faring Bale at Mr A, Manguswi's livery stables, saddlery, etc. Bidding tor the vohiclos dragged very much, All were ultimately sold at low prices. For the horses, harness, etc, competition was much keener. Tlio following prices were realised i-Hacks, £3los to £0 7s M; harness horses, i's to £!). On Saturday, the 19th, I hold my usual fortnightly horse sale at Pahiatua. Owing to the inclement weather there wss a limited attendance. The following prices were roalised: -Hacks, £2los to £5; harness horses, £5 to £ll 10s; set of harness, £5. At the produce sale, alter the horse sale, there was keen competition for potatoes, which show an upward tendenoy. I anticipate prices to haiden as the planting season approaches (or late sorts. Every line offered was sold at the following prices: —Eating potatoes, 'is b'A to 3s, sacks extra; onions, ji. I have several enquiries tor young cattle, 12 to 18-months old, also fowls and young
