THE LICENSING BILL.
By lilegrafh—Oicn Correspondent. Wellington, Wednesday. The managers of tho two Houses have come to an agroemont with 'reference to tho Licensing Bill. The following are the alterations: —National Option is struck out; votes for Local Option and reduction, are to be separate aud. not cumulative ; throe miles for Sunday travellers, and bottle licenses abolished; New Zealand wine licenses retained j Clubs romain as at present; reductions of licousos where carried, to bo on it sliding scale of not less than live percont,; on the day of the general election, licensed; bouses to close from one to seven; Committees reduced to five members and a Magistrate.
