A TERRIBLE VOYAGE.
Melbourne, October 21, ' The ship Lindisfarne had a terrible experience on her last voyage Home, Aftor striking a rock and patting buck {or repairs, sho lost a soaman overboard wlion three days out. In rounding the Cape the carponter went rand and died, The vessel then encountered a fearful hurricane and was partially dismasted, ' Afterwards the chief officer, had his spine fractured by a falling and succumbed to his injuries. The second officer waß also soyerilj injured and confirad to his bed. Several seamen were incapacitated by frost-bite, and the crew being consequently short-handed, the greatest difficulty was experienced in w M&ing " . the vesFcl.
