THE NEW INSURANCE TARIFF.
NUT ALTOGETHER SATISFACTORY, By lolegruph—Press Association. New Plymouth, Saturday. A public raeetinp last night passed resolutions strongly protesting against tho new insuranco tariff, which is a third higher than the old one, and denouncing the New Zealand Companies. They also draw the notice of the Insurers' Protection Association to tho matter and appeal to the Government to start a State Insurance Department.
