Messrs Lowes and lorns report at their sale yeaterdayShocp wo iu nverago number,and the quality in some lines exceptionally uooil, particularly llioso which made the price of tlio season, Shorn sheep made their first appearanco this season; competition was keen throughout, every line selling. In cattle we had a lull entry, all classes being represented. Young stock were in good demand all selling at increased rates. In dairy stock a good number offered, all useful sorts selling freely, but poor and aged cows were neglected. Some fine ox beef caused spirited bidding, making i!os 100 lbs. Of an entry of 50 piss, upwards o! 'lO sold, the demand being for porkers or good stores. Several entire horses were submitted, but failed to reach owners reserves.
