On Saturday, \\\». 2Slh, I held my usual weekly miscellaneous and produce, sale at the mart, There was a very huge attendiir.ee. Kidding was fairly brisk throughout, every Hue of produce offered being sold under the hammer. The following prices were rcalbed:-I'oMoos, 2s lid to 3s lOd l,crsack; onions, }d to Id per lb; hams, Cd lb; bacon, lid lb. Mil. F. H. WOOD'S TAKATAHI SALE,
Mr F. 11. Wood had a good attendance ot buyers at tbo Taralshi ssle yards yesterday. Sheep were well represented, more being yarded than badbecu advertised,and moßtly of good quality. Tha ontrioj of cattle were not numerous, only about 120 bead coming forward, mostly dairy stock and calves of inferior quality. There was good competition for shcop, but bidding for cattle was dull.aud a considerable number were passed pi. Several liLcs of both sheep and cattlo were sold privately after the sale by auction.
