Great interest is centred in Mr Meagher's statement in tho Legislative Assembly to-night re the Dean case. It is expected Sir Julian Salomons will make his rejoinder in the Legislative Council to-morrow, when be will givo a complete circumstantial account of what passed. Doan has made a statutory declaration denying absolutely that ho over admitted his guilt and stenuously affirms his innocence.
