The holiday hours are 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., and 7 p.m. to B p.m. The Public Telegraph Ollico at Masterton Railway Station is onen trom 9 a,nj. to 6 p.m. on week days only, Tub Fiiivate Box Lcmy at Masterton Post Office is open on weak days trom 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., aud ou Sundays and ffolidays Irom 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. At Misteriox : Mails for Wellington and intermediate offices close daily nt (i.lo a.m. and 2.30 p.m., with the exception ot despatches for Clarevillo, Matarawa, and Hutt, which aro carried by the morniug train only. For Eketahuna, Pahiatun, Forty Mile Bush, Woodville and Napier at 11.15 a.m. daily. For Altrcdton on Tuesdays, Thursdaysand Saturdays at 11 a.m. For Lower Tnueru, Tenui, Whakataki. Castlcpoint, and East (Joajl on Tuesday." and Fridays at U. 30 a.m. For Kuripuni, daily at noon, Tho next English ami European Mail via Rio, per It.M.S. Tougariro, will close at tho Masterion Post Office on Wednesday, tiie 2nd day ot October, at 2.30 p.m. Due in London November loth, The next English and European Mail via Sau Francisco, will close at the Masterton Post Oliico on Thursday, tho 3rd day of October, at C.lo a.m. Duo San Francisco October 21th, duo London November Gth.
