Tlio question was raised this morning, in tlio Masterton S.M. Court, as to whether a solicitor's bill of costs had been sent tolas client within seven days of the hearing of a casp, as a certain statute provides that unless this is done, the amount is aot recoverable. The S.M. said this would be a most immoral defence, and lie coqsidcrcd most iniquitous. The defendant who put tlio question, withdrew it after His Worship s remarks, Professor A.
