GOLD WEATHER IN AUSTRALIA.
Sydney, September 24. There has been a heavy snow-fall and intense cold on the mountains and inland, and great mortality to the young lambs and sheep owing to the cold following on the drought. Hoiurt, September 24. Snow is falling and the weather is bitterly cold, and numbers of sheop and lambs are perishing.
