(inetl by the police. On Saturday, we, I who are the promoters of a petition tore-organise the police, were threatdied by a publican. If that publican thinks we are lo be intimidated by threats, he will probably lind out his mistake; atanyrate we have a rod in pickle for him which will at least let him know that there is such a thing as public opinion in this town.
