WEDDING AT MASTERTON.

Yesterday, at the houso of Mr William Perry, Penrose, Taratahi, Miss Alice Lethbridgo Perry, of Masterton, was married to Mr Alfred Avory, of tko Goyernment Insurance Department, Wellington. Mr Holdsworth, of Wellington, acted as best man. The marriage was solemnized by the Rev. R, Wood, in the prosence of a largo number of relatives, Two appropriate hymns were sung. The bride's dress was white delaine, with a tulle voil fastenod to the hair with a spray of orange blossom, The bridesmaids wore the Misses Florence and Julie Perry, and woro dressed in white nun's veiling, brightened with ribbons of lavendor or peach colour. All the dresses were most becoming, The bride carried a beautiful shower bouquet of white flowers. The bridosmaids' bouquets were white (lowers and Neapolitan violets. At the cl«se of the marriage ceremony, a large nniuber of guosts sat down to a dainty repast, Afterthe breakfast, the healths of the bride and the bridegroom and the bridesmaids woro drunk, and appropriate replies given by Mr Avery and Mr Ho]dßworth. Tho newly married couple left tho Claroville station by tho aftornoou train for Wellington, whore a large number of friends showered them with rice as they left,
