Splendid rain continues to fall, Up to midnight, three-quarters of an inch were registered in Sydney. Rain has fallen plentifully throughout the length and breadth of the Colony, and some districts report a fall of an inch. Tho rain tho result of a tropical disturbance which first came on at Port Darwin on Saturday, and since lias travelled rapidly in it south-easterly direction,
