♦- D, CREWE'S WEEKLY REPORT. During tho week the demand for produce lias been very slack, except for feed oats and chaff, of which the demand has exceeded tho supply. Sales of potatoes have only been effected at reduced prices from last week's quotations, On Saturday I held my usual horse sale at Pahiatua. Owing to tho inclemency of tho weather many of the entries did not come forward. The horses'which did come forward were of a poor class,. Although there was a good attendance of the public the bidding was very slack, which resulted in a very limited business at low prices, After the horse sale I held a miscellaneous and produce sale. Although there was a good attendance low prices were obtained and limited business done.
