Sydney, September 10. As a result of his visit totlie Railway Congress, Sir Eddy is highly impressed with the use of electricity for tramway purposes, and states that l:e intends to recommend the Government to convert the whole of the present system in Sydney into the electrical system, and construct new lines along Georgo and Pittstreets, and generally reorganise and develope the whole tramway service, as electricity will prove much more efficient and cheaper thiiu the old system.
