Letters were read: from Treasury re subsidy paid into Bank; from Mr Rive; from Land Tax Department; from Auditor-General with balance-sheet certified; from Mr Manning re his contract; from Reg-istrar-General's office re striking j special rate, Resolved: that a grant be made to repair the Manawa-Amiedale road; that Mr Elder ]be authorised to arrange lyithifrMainiingforatldiiional work required on Uriti-road, Accounts amounting to £2218s (id wore 'passed for payment and the meeting adjourned,
