A GREAT STORM
Sydney, Septomber I, "V. Tho greatest storm on record in the Gambier district, was experienced yesterday. The residents, fearing their houses would be demolished, fled to the fields.
Noarly all houses were unroofed and numerous chimneys were blown down.
Verandahs were torn away bodily and many of the structures in the A town, which wore none too substftnjriH tial, came down, 4(^H
