A MINING ACCIDENT.

Another accident has occurred in the Envoy mine. A loud explosion o£ tiro-dump extinguished all the lights and threw a number of men about and scattered the timbers in all directions.
The workings arcgrcatly damaged. Tlio utmost confusion prevailed as the miners believed there would be another inrush of water. Four faccmen named Harris, Carpseid, Hall, and Laurie were burned about their faces and heads, Harris most seriously.
