Messrs Lowes and loins report that they held a clearing sale at Mr Valler's farm, Mangaone, yesterday. The attendance was good, competition keen throughout, every line selling under the hammer at very satisfactory prices, as under: Dairy cows from 1-110s to £7 averaging £o 10s per head ; heifers £3 10s to £4 ss; fat cows to £5; store cows £3; calves to 30s ; ewes 7s; pigs, small (is, medium 15s, sows 255; hacks £6 ; produce, implements and sundries at satisfactory figures.
