Messrs Lowes ami lorns repotl if.l I,heir fortnightly sale yesterday ; Entries in sheep, owing to the recent rough weather, wej'o not so numerous, hut all penned were of good quality, and oxeited keen, competition, all selling under tho hammer. Cattle woro well represented, especially dairy stock, which included some choice heifers. A good entry of young cattle made improved rates, Beef was only represented by fat cows, no ox beef being penned. All ■lines cleared, Fat wethers ( lis to lis 3d; ewes in lamb, 9s 9d to 10s 1 6d; light stores, 4s 6d; hoggets, Gs Gd; beef cows, £4lss to £5 ss; dairy cows, £4 to £6; heifers, £3 10s to £4los; store cows, 40s to 60s; young steers, '18s; heifers, 455; yearlings, 365; calves, poor, 12s 6d to 16s, good, 20s to 255; young draught horses £ls to £l7 j pigs, porkers to 225,
