DALEFIELD DAIRY COMPANY.

Tliu report of the Dalelield Dairy Company, Limited, presented and adopted at the annual meeting last Monday, reads as follows; - "Gentlemen,—TlieDirectors beet to submit to you the ninth annual balance sheet of the Company. During the past season there were 383,493 gallons of milk supplied to the Factory, producing 391,72911)8 uhcosc. The management of the Factory continues to bo highly satisfactory to the' Directors, and the qualjty of the cheese! ])as been fully maintained. After setting aside £9O for the Purchasing Fund, and £167 2s lOd for the usual dividend (if 10%' qn the paid up capital, there remains, a balance amounting to £213717s lid wliichif isproposcd to appropriate as follows:—£43' 11 6d to bo written off the piggery, and £2,394 6s od for distribution amongst the milk suppliers, this will make the actual return for milk for the season nearly 3|d per gallon, Tho Company's investment in the Greytown Building Society shows a profit of £73 Os lOd for the year, and the "present date" value of the shares is £872 2s Gd. The retiring Directors are Messrs Hoddor and Waterson, who aro eligible and'offer themselves for rc-clociion,' Wm, Booin, Chairman.
