EARTHQUAKES.

By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Monday. Severe shocks of earthquake won) felt at Tanpo on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Most of tlio chimneys were thrown down, and a good deal of other damage was done. Telegraphic reports from most parts of the North Island state that earthquake shocks have been felt with more or less severity, Te Nui, Monday.
