Lrford returned lately from Palmerston, bringing with him Forester, who is looking in very good condition and well worthy of breeders' notico. At a meeting of Directors of tho Peathorston' Dairy Company, held on Saturday evening, fivo tonders were received foi tho erection of a building, 13 applications for the position of manager, and five toudors for the equipment of the factory; tho final dealing with theso was left over until Tuesday evening,
