On Saturday njght a four-rpomod cottage was discovered on firp, but the flames \vere subdued without miich damage, The building pre* sented the appearance pr having been wilfully set on fire. A good deal of tow saturated with keioseno was found lying about, The owner and occupier, James Moody Ponton, has been arrested on a charge of arson. •.
