From Our Own Correspondent. Greytown, Friday. About balf-past oue yesterday afternoon, the two young llobmans turned up, very much exhausted after thoir experiences in the ranges. They managed to reach Mr Dick Sayers' homestead, Dalefield, about three o'clock on Wednesday afternoon, after suffering great privations. They lmd nothing to eat from when they loft the camp on Monday, until they reached Sayers 1 on Wednesday. Mr Sayers very kindly took them in, nnd they wcro pro- [ vided with clothing, as what they . had on when they reached Dalefield, was torn and ragged. They slept out uuderalarge totara tree on Tuesday night, and this afforded very little shelter, as tho -i snow came down and almost covered ' them. When they reached Dalefield they promptly brought the matter under tho notice of tho residents, Riid search paitios wcro soon organised from Gallon's mill, and lanterns were flickering in all direc- , tioue up to a late hoar last night searching, but without success, j Smith had his trousers completely torn off him, and spent a day aud night with simply a shirt and coat ! on. Quite a number of willing per- • sons,including George Lloyd and Len Humphries, left hero early yesterday morning, and continued the search and others went up to the camp to 6 ascertain if the Hobmans |had 8 returned, Will Loader (youngest 3 brother of the young follow who lost his life) in company witli Mr Dick o Saycr, found tho body about 11 a.m. n in tho place where be was left by if his comrades. The body was brought into Groyo town about two o'clock yesterday d afternoon, in charge of Constablo y Darby. It was a terrible blow to the mother as the poor young fellow and his younger brother were the main* II stay of tho home.
