A GIRL CRUELLY FLOGGED

A caso of extraordinary cruelty to a child at Ormondvillc is reported.
A girl of 13 was tied to a bedpost naked and dogged with a lash until blood flew all around. She escaped, and infoimed the police, her condition bearing out her statement, and proceedings have been taken against bur assailant, who is either her fathor or guardian. .
