In addition to tho offer received from the local agents of shipping firms for the carriage of produce, the Agent-General lias received two offers in Loudon. With one of these the Premier is highly satistied, and is confident there is no need to advertise for fresh tenders. Tho contract will be limited to two years from next May, when the existing agreements expire.
