EIGHTEEN PERSONS KILLED. New York, August 9. • A " cl ß' lt - slore y building being erected m H est Broadway collapsed, and 80 workmen engaged upon it fell to the basement, 18 of tliem being killed. The causo of the accident was tho piling-up of materials near the lift on each floor.
