FEATHERSTON NEWS.
From Our Oim Correspondent. Friday. The funeral of the late Mr H. Hall took place on Wednesday afternoon and was attended by between thirtyandfortyfriends. The Church of England's funeral service was conducted by tlio Kev. A. V. Grace.
The canvassing committee in connection with the new building fund of St John's Church, mot yesterday afternoon and decided to send round a circular letter inviting subscriptions. ' It was also resolved to take iip three shares in the P.I.A. which tub 1 form the nucleus of a sinking Id.
Yesterday afternoon the funeral of the late Mrs Samuel Cundy took took place and was attended by nearly a hundred friends. The chief mournsrs were Messrs S. Cundy, C. Cundy. and J. S. Cundy, Jno. Cundy, and J. Tocker. The pall-bearers were Messrs Toogood, Cox, Hodder, and Bey nobis.
