Turner, in delivering ln's Jlndgct speech in the Legislative Assembly, snid that the revenue for the year, including £200,000 expected from the income (ax (of which £140,000 had been collected), was £6,809,000, or £250,000 moie than the estimate, leaving a deficit of £115,000 making the accumulated detieit £3,179,000.
