To create a National Sentiment.and to form into one solid body all those who abject to socialistic legislation. 2. i'o promote reforms economic, legislative, and constitutional; to protest against undue interference with the rights and liberties of the subject; and to oppose class legislation. 3. To protest against any alteration of the laud laws that tends towards the destruction of freeholds,and to encourage bona-fide settlement. _ 4. The direction of recent legislation and of that foreshadowed, is alarming enough to rouse the attention of all those who pretend to a concern for the public welfare. The Council hope for hearty help and sympathy from all true colonists, and trust they will sink minor differences, and combine for the National good.
