THE CITY OF MELBOURNE BANK.
Received, My 25, 10,10 a.m. London, July 24. A meeting of tho London ors has rejected the re-constnicfijft scheme of tho City of Mclboui* Bank, and appointed the existing committee to co-operate with tho Scutch committee in makinginquiries into the position of the Bank. Mr Stewart, Official Receiver, has reported mostfavourably on the debtors account and questioned tho accuracy of the old Balance Sheets, ami also that the Directors' overdrafts excoed £50,000.
