Hugh Stewart, tho victim of tho Bhooting outrage at Balfour, died at Riversdale to-night. v John Keown, who was bei'ore the Court to-day and lemanded, will now bo charged with wilful murder. It is stated that Jliddlemiss, the Magistrate's Court bailiff, seized two of Keown's horses on Friday night, but being fired at by him, abandoned them, nnd got Stewart with him on the fatal errand on Saturday.
