' Biiisiiaxk, July 22. ■ Details have been recoived of the* wholesale poisoning of shearers at Bowen Downs. Eight men were poisoned in tho first batch and 49 in the second, Tho crime was effected by mixing arsenic in tho bread and in a meat pudding, Ah eye witness describes the scene as horrible, the men writhing about in every direction, One has died, and the others are in a dangerous condition. Police have been despatched to tho sceno.
