Asquith, late Home Sefore-' tary, has been re-elected for East Fife, by a majority of 716, The sitting members have been returned for Barnard Castle, Horsham, Mid-Glamorgan, South Monmoith, Wansbeok, Stafford, Bishop Auckland, Chippenham, Ross (Hereford) and Holm6rlh. The following have been elected: —Mr Burnes (Tory), Ferevsham; Mr Carinichael (Liberal), Midlothian, by a majority of 459 oyer Mr Dalrymple j Mr Strutfc (Tory), Maldon; Mr Cripps (Tory) Stroud; Mr Philpolt (Tory), Torquay. V The Liberal ga ; ns are Mr Hophill (North Tyrone); Mr Fu'ford (Liohlield) ; Mr SoutUr (Dumfriesshire). The Torys gain Mr Malcolm (Suffolk, Sir J. Pender (Tory) beat Mr Spencer (Liberal) atMid-Nortlump-ton.

Mr Craig was a Kadical and Mr Hammil a Labour candidate. The result of this election is the loss of a seat to tho Liberals.
