Bennett (2), Marsh (2), Warner (2), Wickens and Maguire one each. Only two goals were placed out of l the eight tries. The winners had much the best of the game throughout, showing far moro brilliancy than their opponents. The White Stars defeated the Fcathorston Frothers at Carterton

The Featlierston team included < some old players, and although the White Stars showed mora dash and smartness the teams were well matched. The play at times was a really splendid display of football, and well worth witnessing, both teams including some particularly smart kickists for junior players, Mho Red Star Club (first and flSpnd fifteens) hold a practice on the Park Oval to-morrow afternoon. Tho football match Carterton v Mastcrton has been postponed owing to tbo death of Mr Josoph Udy, one of the Carterton Seniors' most prominent members.
