SIMMS 4 MOSLEMS'STOCK REPORT.
Messrs Simms &, Mowlcin held their usual fortnightly stock salo in the yards. Queen-street, Masterton, yesterday. Sheep wcro poorly represented, cattle, horses and pigs were in fair attendance, and of good quality ,and every thing cleared before the closo of the sale, with the exception of three aged dairy cows, Bidding under the hammer for some lines, especially fat stock, was keen and bright, and supplies did not meet the requirements of purchasers present, Fat ewes, medium weights, brought 8s 2d; forward ewes; 5s to 5s 6d Pat cows, £1 los; store cows, £4 to £4 7s Cd; 2-year old steers and empty heifers, £2 15s to £3 ss;! calves, 15s to 235; heifers in calf, £4los; cows in calf to £5. Pigs: Stores, 15s6d.
Horses: Draughts. £ls; light harness, £7 to £ll j hacks, £2 10s to £6los; crocks, 24s to 40s.
