Som.JulylG. A dastardly attempt was made today on the life of M. Stamboloff, exPriinc Minister of Bulgaria. While he was returning to his homo in tho city, four men stopped his carriage and attempted to assassinate him.
Both of M. StamboloS's hands were severed as he tried to defend himself.
He endeavoured toeflecihis escape by fleeing, but was shot down and repeatedly stabbed while he was lying on the ground. His condition is critical. Ono arrest has been made.
