" DAVID GARRICK."

The above company made their fifth appcarence at Ike Masterton Theatre Royal last night, in the sparkling comedy "David Garrick." Notwithstanding the exceedingly cold weather, tho attendance was very good. Tho piece wont smoothly throughout, and was extremely wellreceived. Mr Lucas, as " David Garrick," gavoanotherproof of his ability and had to respond to a call before the curtain. Mr Frank Norton ably sustained the partof "Simon Ingot," Miss Lilla Wilde as " Ada Ingot," Miss Lilly Hill as " Mrs Smith," Mi' C, It. Hill as " Squire Chivry," and Mr J. J. Kennedy as "Mr Brown," also making a success of their parts. All the minor characteis were well-filled, and the dresses and scenery were a special feature of tho play, which was certainly staged as : well as auything yet produced by [the Company. To-night, "The Ticket o' Leave Man," will be presented, and on Wednesday, after playing at Carterton and Greytown, the Company return to Masterton, ,and appear in "Madame Midas," and "Our Boys," before finally leaving tho Wairarapa for Pahiatna and Napier.
