THE SYDNEY SHEEP SALES.

At the sheep sales to-day, with one or two exceptions, ridiculous prices prevailed, and a largo number ot sheep were purchased for butchering. The remainder of yesterday's catalogue was offered. Menlove's 100 Lincoln rams, passed yesterday, and 40 of Threlkeld's, similarly treated, were sold privately at above the ' auction average. The prices were not disclosed.
J. Burrows, of Wairarapa, sold 16 Lincoln Hock rams, 8s each, in Romneys, J. Burrows sold 42
rams at an average of 8s each. W. B. Allen, of Claroville, sold 7 rams at three-quarters of a guinea, and 15 ewes at 1} guineas eaoh.
