A meeting of Hie Stewards of the W.R.U., was kkl at tlio Empire Hotel, on Saturday afternoon. Present—Jlessrs W. E. Eidwill (Chairman), W. 0. Williams, Fred Pearce, J. S. Candy, W. J. Nix, Ci. Reynolds, and Cr. T. F. Hntton (Secretary). The minutes of (he two previous meetings, were read and confirmed. The Treasurer reported a debit balance of £.21 As 3d. Accounts, amounting to £BS 8s 7d, worn passed for payment. The general routine business was gone through. J. Cooper, who was lately disqualified for two years, and whose disqualification the Metropolitan Club upheld, wrote askiug the Club to remove the disqualification; but, the meeting decided that they could not do anything in the matter. A meeting of the Executive of the Annual Ball, was held on Saturday evening to deal with the tenders for the Ball; but after some discussion it was resolved to Ist the matter stand over until a meeting of the Management Committee thisovening.
