FLOOD AT ELLESMERE.
By Telegraph.—Press Association, ' Curistchukch, Monday. A serious flood in reported in the Ellesmere district, all the low-lying lands being covered with water, and the distress and loss considerable. The lake is higher than has been known for twenty years. It is also feared that a missing boy has been drowned. It is still raining and bitterly cold, and shows no signs of clearing.
