The estimated expenditure was £6O, and the Committee ssked for £'2o for contingencies. Mr Vile said he would withdraw bis motion after the Chairman's J applanation, and move as an amend- , aient :that the sum of £63 —the i leficiency shown in the estimate—■ be granted. Mr Renal! seconded the amcndnent that £63 be be granted, which was c irried, Messrs Hornblow and Daniell voting against it. On the motion of Iff Daniell, the stsro of £25 wo3granted to the i'ornHdge School as asked. On the motion of Mr Hoi nbluu-, ho fnm of <620 was granted to St. Patricks School, as applied for, after lome discussion, on the pom'tion of Jatholio Schools. !
