GREYTOWN NEWS.

From Our Own Correspondent.

Wednesday. Mr M. R. Vambam's concert last Monday evening was fairly well attended, and all the items were well rendered.

A concert and social in aid of the Wcslcyan Home Mission was held in the Morrison's Hiwli Church last night. A most pleasant evening was spent by those present, a good number of Fcatherslou and Greytown friends were in attendance. Mr Sussex desorves great credit for the way in which he worked the affair up. The Band of Hope met last night, when a good programme was submitted and au enjoyable evening spent.

The Oddfellows' Lodge hold a social to-night in their rooms, w hen visitors from the various Wairarapa Lodges are invited to bo in attendance.
